(a) - 3.3km

IF THE SOUND OF THUNDER IS HEARD 10SECONDS AFTER LIGHTNING THIS MEANS THAT THE SOUND TOOK 10SECONDS TO TRAVEL FROM CLOUD TO EARTH.

DISTANCE THUNDER TRAVELED = DISTANCE LIGHTNING TRAVELED.

NOW IF SPEED OF SOUND IS GIVEN 330m/s

AND IT TOOK 10 SECOND TO COME TO EARTH.

THEREFORE DISTANCE IT TRAVELED = 10 × 330

3300 m

3300m = 3.3km

THUS DISTANCE THUNDER AND LIGHTNING BOTH TRAVELED = 3.3 KM.

HENCE CORRECT OPTION IS (a) - 3.3km
