The height of the cloud is 3234 meters.

Explanation:

It is given that,

Time to heard the thunder, t = 9.8 s

Speed of the sound in air, v = 330 m/s

We need to find the height of the cloud. It is given by the product of velocity and time. It is given by :

d=v\times t

d=330\ m/s\times 9.8\ s

d = 3234 meters

So, the height of the cloud is 3234 meters. Hence, this is the required solution.
