The poem "tiger and the deer" is written by the famous poet "Aurobindo" In this poem the poet tells about the reality of our society by giving the example.
The aesthetically description in the poem shows how a big and more powerfull tiger hunt a deer and make the deer his prey. The tiger don't even think anything about the deer before jumping on a weak deer and so instantly kills him.
The poet illustrates by this example this is how we are behaving with poor and weak man living in our surrounding  and society.

The opening lines of the poem describe the magnificence of the tiger – its shiny eyes, padded noiseless paws and majestic chest. Silently and stealthily, it made its way towards a beautiful drinking water from a nearby water source. The tiger pounced on the deer and killed it with one blow. As the deer fell prey to the tiger, it could not but help thinking of its partner left alone in the woodlands. However, as the tiger is slowly becoming extinct, the day is not far off when the deer will be able to drink water in peace without the fear of being attacked by the wild beast.

The poet compares the deer to attributes like love, softness and innocence. He describes the tiger’s action as the end of good healthy values in life. Even as he says that life is meant to be enjoyed, one cannot but help understand the poet’s longing for a peaceful world without harm to anyone.
