GIVEN :-

• d= 17.5m

• t = 0.1sec

Find :-

• v = ?

Calculation :-

=> sound travelled to the wall and back,

=> thus, d + d= 2d

=> since, total distance = 2d

=> As we know that,

=> v = d/t

put values

=> .°. v = 2×17.5/0.1

=>\red{\boxed{\boxed{.°. v = 350m/s}}}

Therefore, the speed of sound is 350m/s.

We are given:

L=17.5m

T=0.1s

Sound traveled to the wall and back, thus total distance is:

 \frac{d} total = l + l = 2l

Speed is defined as:

v=

 \frac{d}{t}

So:

 \frac{v}{?} sound =  \frac{dtotal}{t}

Calculating:

Answer:350m/s
