Time period of simple pendulum  =T=2π√(l/g)

or g=4π² (l/T²)
We can see as T is inversely proportional to g that is when g is less, T will be more.
As we know the value of acceleration due to gravity( g) decreases with altitude so g is slightly less on the top of mountain ,so T is more.Therefore pendulum will take more time to complete one oscillation.
Hence pendulum clock will go slow (loose time) on mountains.
