Since
mvr = nh /2*pi
2 *pi* r = nh/mv

Dividing by v
(2*pi*r)/v = nh/mv²

LHS is the time for one revolution in the nth orbit. mv² is proportion to the energy which is

mv² \alpha 1/n²
