Step-by-step explanation:

Let the speeds be x and x + 10 km/hour

150 /x - 150 / ( x+10) = 150/60 = 2.5

MULTIPLY BY x ( x+10)

150( x+10) - 150x = 2.5 ( x) ( x+10)

1500 = 2.5x^2 + 25x

2.5x^2 +25x - 1500 = 0

x^2 + 10x - 600 = 0

( x+ 30) ( x- 20) = 0

Rejecting the negative , x = 20

ANSWER 20 km/ hour AND 30 km/ hour

CHECK

150/20= 7.5 hours

150/30 = 5 hours

SUBTRACT 2.5 hours = 150 minutes
