Answer:
Explanation:
Dialogue between you and your mother on gender equality:
Mother: Good morning son
Me: Good morning
Mother: It is very pleasant to find you up already this morning helping your sisters to clean the house.
Me: Thank you mother. I love helping around.
Mother: It is good to see that things have changed in the society today. It was not always like this during our times.
Me: How was it mother?
Mother: Not so long ago, it was not easy to find young boys helping in the house. Such jobs were always considered to be feminine. It was even worse when things like education, jobs and decision making in the society was denied the girl child but privileged the men.
It was hard back then for the women. There was no gender equality and women really suffered.
Me: Yes mother. I have heard and also read about it in my books. In as much as it as changed, we still have some aspects of gender inequality in our society. There are places that have not embraced the changes yet.
Mother: I know, and that is why I encourage you to keep up the good work and always fight for the right of your sisters and the women in the society in general. Teach your friends and schoolmates about the need of equality for both genders.
Me: I have always advocated for this in school and even in the society, you know that mother. It is not right for women to be treated any less because of their gender. We all deserve the same opportunities.
Mother: Very good. Now go on with your work. Afterwards you can go and play with your friends.
Me: Thanks mother.
