the top of lake is frozen as atmosphere temperature is -10 degree Celsius the temperature of the bottom of lake is most likely to be?? Give answer in degree Celsius...

-10 deg at the surface u say.....

and as ice itself is a non conductor of heat.... (and insulator of heat)

the temperature at the bottom of the lake due to this insulating effect of ice will naturally be more than -10 deg cel.

more as approaching positive from -10... like -10.. -9 ... and -2 etc

in fact wayyyyy.. more.... That is how some of the Arctic and Antarctic marine life thrive underwater at the poles....
