The topmost later of the Earth is the CRUST of the Earth, is the thinnest layer extends from 10 kms to 70 kms thickness. The Earth's Crust meets with the Troposphere of the Atmosphere at the ground level.
The CRUST is homes and habitats of all activities of living creatures on the surface of the Earth. It consists of soils, water bodies, hills and mountains, rivers, forests, deserts, lakes, glaciers, icecaps, the total landscapes etc.
