We have 2 triangles here. The base of both the triangles are equal (because the hypotenuse joins the centre). From this information we get a relation
x cot(30°) = y cot(60°) ---> (1)
Joining the tips of the towers we get another right angled triangle. We will be able to find the base and height by given information and then use the relation (1)
