Answer:

The answer is 78 litres of Water is taken from the tank.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total capacity of tank = 200 litres

At present water in the tank is 60% i.e

= 200 × 60/100

= 120 litres.

After the water is taken from 120 litres the remaining water in the tank is 35%

= 120 × 35/100

= 42 litres.

Therefore The quantity of water taken is the difference between Present water quantity in the tank 60% and the water left in the tank 35%.

= 120 - 42

= 78 Litres.
