=> 5y = 745 - 120
=> 5y = 625
=> y = 625/5
=> y = 125

Substituting the value of y in eq (ii)
x = 125 + 40
=> x = 165
Therefore,
The cost of one ball is ₹125 and the cost of one bat is ₹165
