and of 1 table be t

according to question

3*t + 2*c = 8745 ,. -- eq 1

t = 40 + c. -- eq 2

multiply eq 2 by 2

will give,

2t = 80 + 2c. -- eq 3

add eq 1 & 3 ,

3t +2t +2c = 8745+ 80+ 2c

5t = 8825

t = 1765

put this in eq 2

1765 = 40 + c

c = 1725

price of chair = 1725
