Let the cost of one chair be x
therefore, the cost of one table would be x+40,

Now, according to question

3(x+40) + 2x = 745
= 3x + 120 + 2x = 745
= 5x = 745 - 120
= 5x = 625
= x = 625/5= 125


Cost of one chair = 125
Cost of one table = 125+40= 160
