The total cost of fencing a rectangular field is ₹ 800 at the rate of ₹ 4 per meter. If the length of the field is 64 m, what is the breadth of the rectangular field​

Answer:

perimeter of rectangle = cost of fencing / cost per metre

perimeter = 800 / 4 = 200 m

perimeter of rectangle = 2( l + b )

200 = 2( 64 + b )

200 / 2 = 64+ b

100 = 64 + b

b = 100-64 = 36
