let length of floor be = x metres.

area × rate = cost

area=cost/rate

area=564/9.4

area= 60 metre sq.

length × breadth = 60

length =60/7.5

length = 8 metres

Total cost of flooring=area of room*cost per m²

Let total area of the room be l*b (where l=length and b=breadth)

(l*b)9.40=564

l*b=564/9.4=60

It is given that b=7.5m

Length , l = 60/7.5=8m

Hope this helps you
