COST OF FLOORING PER SQ. METRE = RS 85

TOTAL EXPENDITURE = RS 5100

THUS,

AREA OF THE ROOM = TOTAL EXPENDITURE / RATE PER SQUARE METRE

= 5100/85 m²

= 60m²

NOW,

SO,

LENGTH × BREADTH = 60

=8× BREADTH = 60

=BREADTH = 60/10m

=BREADTH = 6m

perimeter = 2(L+B)
