• Cost of flooring per m² = Rs 85

• Total cost of flooring = Rs 5100
• Length of the room = 10 m

To Find :-

• The perimeter of the room.

Solution :-

We know that,

$\bullet\:\:\:\underline{\boxed{\bf{Perimeter = 2(l+b) }}}$

 

Area of the room,

$:\implies\:\sf{\dfrac{Total \:cost \:of\:flooring}{Cost \:flooring\:per\:m^2} }$

$:\implies\:\sf{\dfrac{5100}{85\:m^2} }$

$:\implies\:\sf{60\:m^2}$

Now,

$:\implies\:\sf{l\times b = 60}$

$:\implies\:\sf{10\times b = 60}$

$:\implies\:\sf{ b = \dfrac{60}{10} }$

$\sf:\implies \underline{\boxed{\pink{\mathfrak{b = 6}}}}\:\:\bigstar$

∴ Breadth = 6 m

Now,

Perimeter of the room,

$:\implies\:\sf{2(l+b)}$

$:\implies\:\sf{2(10+6)}$

$:\implies\:\sf{2\times 16}$

∴ Perimeter of the room = 32 m²
