The total cost of some items is (2x2 + 12x + 16). Find an algebraic expression for
the number of items bought if the cost of each item is (x+2).​

Answer:

Total cost would be (2x2 + 12x + 16)

4 + 12x+ 16

12x+ 16+4

12x= 16+4

12x+ 20

x+ 20-12= 8

Each item= ( x+2)

x= 2

so (x+2) is 8+2 which is 10
