suppose cost of one table is T and one chair is C
we know cost of two chairs and two tables
= 3T +2C = 8745 .......(1)
now table cost 40 more than chair
so T = C+40
put this value of T in equation (1)
3( C +40 ) + 3C = 8745
3C + 120 +3C = 8745
6C + 120 = 8745
6C = 8745 - 120
6C = 8625
C = 8625 ÷6
C = 1437.5 Rs
T = C+40
T = 1437.5 + 40
T = 1477.5 Rs
cost of one table = 1477.5 Rs
cost of one chair = 1437.5 Rs.
we know cost of two chairs and two tables
