The total cost of three tables and two chairs is Rs. 745. If a table costs Rs. 40 more than a chair, find the cost prize of each​

given that table cost is 40 more

  1. then one table cost is = 40+X
  2. three table cosr is = (40+x) *3 = 120+3X

now,

Three table + two chair = 745

120+3X+2X = 745

120+5X =745

5X= 745-120

5X = 625

X = 625/5

X=125

and here we get X= 125 price cost of chair is 125

and table cost is 40+X = 165
