The total energy during a physical or chemical process is conserved. Why then we hear so much about energy crisis?

No the energy conservation depends upon the work. Not always the energy is conserved. And there also a hidden energy ..it's in 10th class. that not always the energy is conserved sometime it loses in form of hidden energy. So and about crisis there is much need of energy and production of energy is less.
