GIVEN:-

  • \rm{Mass\:of\:Automobile=1500kg}

  • \rm{Force\:exerted\:by\:Ground=980N}

  • \rm{Time\:Taken=5.0s}

  • \rm{Initial\:Velocity=0m/s}

TO FIND:-

  • How far the Automobile will travel in 5 Second,after being force applied.

FORMULAE USED:-

  • {\huge{\boxed{\rm{F=ma}}}}

Where,

F = Force applied

M= Mass

a= Acceleration

  • {\huge{\boxed{\rm{S=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}\times{a}\times{t}^2}}}}

Where,

S= Distance

u= Initial Velocity

t= Time

a= Acceleration

Now,

Using F= ma,to find Acceleration

\implies\rm{F=ma}

\implies\rm{980=1500\times{a}}

\implies\rm{a=\dfrac{\cancel{980}}{\cancel{1500}}}

\implies\rm{a=1.53m/s^2}

Now,

Using Second equation of motion to find out Distance travelled by automobile in 5 s.

\implies\rm{S=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}\times{a}\times{t}^2}

\implies\rm{S=0\times{5}+\dfrac{1}{\cancel{2}}\times{1.53}\times{\cancel{25}}}

\implies\rm{S=0+1.53\times{12.5}}

\implies\rm{S=0+19.125}

\implies\rm{S=19.125m}

Thus,The Distance travelled by Automobile is 19.125m.

Hi there!

The Answer Of Your Question is 19.125 m.

GIVEN :-

  • Force = 980N
  • Time = 5s.
  • Mass = 1500kg.
  • Initial Velocity = 0m/s.

SOLUTION :-

Use Formula :-

\sf\purple{F = MA}

Put the values.

\rm\red{980 = 1500 \times A}

\rm\blue{a = 1.53 \: m/ {s}^{2} }

Now, Use Second Equation of Motion.

\rm\green{s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2} }

\rm\orange{s = 0 + 15.3 \times 12.5}

\rm\pink{s = 19.125 \: m}
