the total mass of Faizal, john, and Raju is 154.2 kg. John is 10.48 kg heavier than Rsju and 9.23 kg heavier than Faizal. find Raju's mass(please show working)

j = r+10.48 or r = j-10.48 ----------(2)

j=f+9.23 or f = j -9.23 -------------(3)

Substituting the value of f and r in (1)

j-9.23+ j + j-10.48 =154.2

3j = 154.2 + 9.23 + 10.48    

3j = 173.91

j= 57.97 kg

r = j -10.48

=57.97-10.48

= 47.49  kg

Let x be Faizal's mass

And let (x+9.23) be John's mass

=> Raju's mass = (x +9.23) -10.48kg

=> x + (x + 9.23) + [(x +9.23-10.48 ] =154.2

=>2x + 9.23 + x +9.23-10.48 = 154.2

=> 3x + 9.23 +9.23-10.48 =154.2

=> 3x +18.46-10 48 = 154.2

=> 3x + 7.98= 154.2

=> 3x = 154.2-7.98

=> 3x = 146.22

=> x = 146.22/3

=> x= 48.74

Therefore Faizal's mass = 48.74kg

and John's mass = 48.74+9.23 =57.97kg
