12 grams of carbon indicates 1 mole.

1mole of carbon contains Avogadro number(6 x 10²³) atoms of carbon atoms

wherein each atom of carbon has 6 each of protons, neutrons and electrons.

So 1 mole(12grams) of carbon has 6 x (6 x 10²³) number of neutrons, protons and electrons.

Therefore 12 grams of carbon contains 3.6 x 10^ 24 number of neutrons, electrons and protons(all in equal amounts)
