Given : given mass of sodium (Na)=5.6gm

To find : no. Of electrons

Sol : as we know mass of Na is equal to 23 gm .

No. Of moles = given mass /molar

mass

= 5.6 gm /23gm

= 1/5 mol

Now,

No. Of electrons = n × NA × x

(Here n = 1/5

NA = 6.022 ×10^23

x = Na has electron confihuration 2/8/2 so ot has total electron 12 )

= 1/5×6.022×10^23×12

=144.528 electrons

Answer : 144.528×10^22 electrons are present in 5.6 gm of sodium
