Solution:

13 and 100 are co prime

a number which is a multiple of both 13 and 100  = 1300k

it is less than 2,000  

Hence 1300 is only possible number

1300 = 2 * 2 * 5 * 5 * 13

1300 = 2² * 5² * 13¹

Number of factors  = (2 + 1)(2 + 1) (1 + 1)

= 3 * 3 * 2

= 18
