Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total population be 'p'

Given ratio of male and female in a city is 7:8

In tht percentage of children among male and female is 25% and 20% repeatively.

⇒ Adult male and female % = 75% and 80$

But given adult females = 156,800

⇒ 80% (80/15)=156800

⇒ 80% ×

15

80

×100=156800

⇒p=

80×8

15×1568×100

=3,67,500

∴ Total population of the city = 3,67,500

This seems to be the most appropriate answer.
