Given :  total number of students in this two schools bluebeland greenbells is 625

the ratio of this friends in both school is 13 ratio 12

x is been shifted from greenbelt to bluebells

then the new ratio will be the ratio 3:2

To find :  the value of x

Solution:

Bluebells   = 13B

greenbells = 12B

Total = 25B

25B = 625

=> B = 25

Bluebells   = 13*25  = 325

greenbells = 12*25  = 300

x is been shifted from greenbelt to bluebells

=> Bluebells    = 325 + x

greenbells  =  300 -  x

325 + x :   300 -  x = 3 : 2

=> (325 + x)/(300 - x)  = 3/2

=> 650 + 2x  = 900 - 3x

=> 5x  = 250

=> x = 50

the value of x = 50

  • Blueballs = 13 balls.
  • Greenballs = 12 balls.

Total balls = 25 balls.

25 balls = 625

Balls = 25

Bluballs = 13*25=325

Greenballs = 12*25=300

x is shifted from greenballs to blueballs

Blueballs = 325x + x

Greenballs = 300 - x

325+x : 300-x = 3:2

(325+x)/(300-x)=3/2

650 + 2x = 900 - 3x

5x = 250

Answer»» x = 50.
