The total number of students is 1500. If the number of girls is 60 more than that of the boys, find the

number of boys in the school. Also find the number of girls​

Let the number of boys in the class be x.

So number of girls= x+60

Since Total number of Students=1500

$x + x + 60 = 1500 \\ 2x + 60 = 1500 \\ 2x = 1440 \\ x = 720$

So number of Boys =720

and number of Girls =60+720

=780
