definition : the distance between two consecutive numbers are equal then the series is called ARTHEMATIC PROGRESSION

SERIES : a , a + 1d , a + 2d , a + 3d ..............an

NTH TERM : an = a + ( n-1 ) × d

a = 1st term

n = number of terms

d = difference

sum of n term : sn = n / 2 × ( a + an )
