Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of  a triangle=  sum  of all sides

p =    50 cm    (given)

let the length of the two equal sides be = x

p = 50 cm= 14 cm +  x + x

50 = 14 +2x

50 - 14 = 2x

36 = 2x

36/2 = x

         ∴   x =  18

ans →  the length of the two equal sides =  18 cm

Answer:

36 cm each side

Step-by-step explanation:

in a isoceles triangle teo sides are equal so:

in triangle(ABC) AB=BC

PERIMETER OF TRIANGLE = LENGTH of SIDE 1 + LENGTH of SIDE 2 + LENGTH of SIDE 3

THEREFORE; perimeter of triangle(ABC) = 50

14 + X + X = 40 ( let the isoceles side be X cm)

therefore X = 18 cm
