0.0022 moles of each gas

0.0044 moles for mixture


● Explanation-

# Given-

P = 5×10^3 Pa

V = 2 L = 2×10^-3 m^3

T = 273 K


# Solution-

Let n be total no of moles of mixture.


According to ideal gas equation,

PV = nRT

5×10^3 × 2×10^-3 = n × 8.314 × 273

n = 10 / (8.314×273)

n = 0.0044


No of moles of each gas will be half i.e. 0.0044/2 = 0.0022 moles.
