Now let's solve.

8 : 3 :: 1,80,000 : 60x

8/3 = 1,80,000/60x

60x = (3/8) × 1,80,000

60x = 3 × 22,500

60x = 67,500

x = 67,500 ÷ 60

x = 1,125

So, the amount received by each clerk is 1,125.
