the total students of a school is 425.the ratio of attended and absent is 15:2.Find the number of students attended the school

Answer:

Let the attendant and absents be 15x, 2x.

ATQ

15x+2x=425

17x =425

x=425/17

x=25.

Students present =15x=15*25=375 students.

" absent =2x=15*2=30 students.
