the total surface area of a cube is 6a² where 6 is the value of the side. so here as the value of 6a² is given as 54cm² than we can simply form an equation that 54= 6a²
a²=54/6
a²=9
a=√9
a=3 and from this solution we can say that the measure of the side of the cube is 3cm
