let the side (edge) of the cube be a.

TSA (total surface area) of the cube = 726cm²

therefore 6a² = 726cm²

==> a² = 726/6

==> a² = 121

==> a = √121

==> a = 11cm

VERIFICATION :-

TSA of the cube = 6a²

= 6 × 11²

= 6 × 121

= 726cm²

hence verified

thus the edge of the cube is 11cm
