Answer:TSA of cylinder = CSA + base area of cylinder

TSA of cylinder = 2πrh + π r^2

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

Given in question

CSA =1/3 TSA

CSA = 1/3 × 462

CSA = 154 cm.

CSA = 2πrh = 154

h = 154 × 7 / 22 × 2

h = 49 / 2 cm ..............(1)

Now TSA of cylinder = CSA + base area of cylinder

462 = 154 +π r^2

462 - 154 = πr^2

308 = 22/7 × r^2

(308 ×7)/22 = r^2

14 × 7 = r^2 ..............(2)

Vol. Of cylinder = π r^2 h

Vol. Of cylinder = ( 22 × 14× 7 ×49)/ (7 ×2)

Vol .of cylinder = 22×343

Vol of cylinder = 75 4 6 cm^3.
