room = 204m²

Total surface area of the room =

346.5 m²

We know that ,

Let Area of the floor = area of the roof

= x m²

Area of the 4 walls of the room + 2 ×

floor area = total surface area of the

room

204 m² + 2xm² = 346.5 m²

2x = 346.5 - 204

2x = 142.5

x = 142.5/2

x = 71.25 m²

Therefore ,

surface area of the floor =x = 71.25m²
