Answer:

Let the radius of solid hemisphere = x

Total surface area of solid hemisphere = 3πr^2

3πr^2 = 462

πr^2 = 462 / 3

πr^2 = 154

r^2 = 154 / π

r^2 = 154 × 7 / 22

r^2 = 49

r = √49

r = 7

Diameter (d) = 2 r

d = 2 × 7

d = 14 cm
