Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

CSA = 352 sq.cm

◆ Explanation -

Radius of cylinder is half the diameter. i.e. 14/2 = 7 cm.

Given that total surface area of a solid right circular cylinder is 660 sq.cm.

TSA = 2πr (r + h)

660 = 2 × 22/7 × 7 (7 + h)

7 + h = 660 / 44

h + 7 = 15

h = 15 - 7

h = 8 cm

Curved surface area of the cylinder is -

CSA = 2πrh

CSA = 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 8

CSA = 352 sq.cm

Hence, curved surface area of the cylinder is 352 sq.cm.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
