Given data :

The total surface area of solid hemisphere is 462 cm². If it's curved surface area is 308 cm². Then the area of the base of hemisphere.

Solution : Now, we use formula total surface area of hemisphere.

⟹ Total surface area of hemisphere

= curved surface area of hemisphere + area of circle

⟹ 462 = 308 + area of circle

⟹ area of circle = 462 - 308

⟹ area of circle = 154 cm²

Here, we know that area of is base of the solid hemisphere.

Answer : Hence, area of base of the solid hemisphere is 154 cm².
