curved surface area = 2πrh
=> 2/3 x (2πrh + 2πr²) = 2πrh
2/3 x (h + r ) = h
2h + 2r = 3h
h = 2r
therfore, 2πrh + 2πr² = 231
2πr(h + r) = 231
2πr x 3r = 231
r = √231/6π
r = 3.5 cm
and h = 2r
h = 7 cm
thus r = 3.5 cm and h = 7 cm
