Total surface area of hemisphere =3πr ²

where r= radius of hemisphere

3πr ² =1848

⇒3× 22/7×r ² =1848

⇒r ²= 1848×7/3×22 = 196

r= √196 = 14 cm

Question ::-

The total surface area of the Solid hemisphere is 1848 cm. Find the radius ?

Given ::-.

  • Surface area of hemisphere = 1848 cm

To find ::-

  • Find the radius ?

Solution ::-

We know ,

Surface area of hemisphere

S. \: A. =  \:  \: 3\pi {r}^{2}

1848 =  \:  \: 3\  \times \dfrac{22}{7}   \times {r}^{2}

 \dfrac{1848}{3}  =   \dfrac{22}{7}   \times {r}^{2}

616 =   \dfrac{22}{7}   \times {r}^{2}

616  \times\dfrac{7}{22} =    {r}^{2}

 \dfrac{4312}{22} =    {r}^{2}

196=    {r}^{2}

 \sqrt{196} =    r

14 \: =    r

_______________

Radius of solid hemisphere is 14 cm
