Theoretically ( ideally ) it cause an infinity circuit but but in our practical condition every conductor have some resistance so it will cause a large amount of current through it . if there is no any protection it will heat up the conductor up to melt it . in case of normal wire , the wire will burn and the circuit break all things become normal expect that conductor of wire .
