I would like to bring to light the issue of the need of boosting the development of the tourism industry in our country.
We know that the significance of tourism is inevitable for India. Tourism benefits India in three ways-employment, foreign currency and infrastructure development. Millions of people work in India's tourist industry. Increasing tourists will increase employment in the tourism industry and eventually increase the quality of life of thousands.
India needs to improve its public services and foster basic hygiene if it wants to appeal to the foreign tourist. If India wants to encourage tourism, it needs to act to improve the quality of its air and water so Indians and tourists alike can breathe the air and drink the water freely.

Tourism like any other industry has to satisfy the customer for it's success. And in tourism the customer are the tourist. In order to aatract the customer the industry has to take care of certain basic things. The first of these is security. Tourist must feel themselves secure when they are visiting a place. They should have no fear cheated or robbed. It must be easy, comfortable and not expensive... The place must also be clean and should have attractive surroundings. To do all this both the govt. and the public have to play their respective roles faithfully and deligently.
