➙When a train has to cross a stationary object, it has to cover a distance equal to its own length.

In this case the distance covered

➙ 150 m = 3/20 km

speed of train = 50 km/h

50 km is covered in = 60 minutes

1 km is covered in = 60/50 minutes

3/20km is covered in=60/50×3/20 or9/50minutes

➙9/50 ×60 or 10.8 second
