That day was very memorable in my life. We had planned to go to Mumbai by train. As we reached the platform there was an announcement of delay of train by an hour. We had no other option but to wait for train on the platform.
The platform was crowded with passengers. Everyone was in a hurry to catch train. Some children were entertaining themselves by singing songs loudly, running here and there, demanding for eatables. Hawkers selling tea and coffee started taking rounds. Many approached nearby stalls for snacks. Announcement for different trains were filling the gap between different noises. Passengers were checking their names in boarding list of passengers.
The whole platform was looking like a pile of luggage. Overall it was quite entertaining but tiring also as we were waiting for our train to arrive.
