The train had left before we reached the station .... tense used - past perfect tense
reason - when two actions took place in the past , the action that has completed earlier is written in past perfect ... so , in the sentence , the train left before u came ... so the action of train leaving the staton took place earlier ...

\textbf{Answer}

Given Sentence that needs to be updated with the correct tense is - The train (leave) before we reached the station.

Correct Tense/Sentence - The train \textbf{had left} before we reached the station.

Correct tense used here is \textbf{Past Perfect Tense}.

Past perfect tense is to be used here because the event had already happened before another event.
